چکیده

Objectives This study tests, for the first time, applicability of a new method sex estimation utilizing enamel peptides on sample deciduous and permanent teeth at different stages mineralization, from nonadults unknown sex, including perinates. Materials methods A total 43 29 nonadult individuals aged 40 gestational weeks to 19 years old were analyzed. The included pairs fully mineralized just developing same individual. four archaeological sites in England: Piddington (1st–2nd centuries AD), Coach Lane, Victoria Gate, Fewston (all 18th–19th centuries). that identifies chromosome-linked isoforms peptide amelogenin human tooth was applied. utilizes minimally destructive acid etching procedure subsequent nano liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. Results It possible determine 28 sampled (males = 20, females 8, undetermined 1). Only one failed (CL9), due insufficient mineralization enamel. Data are available via ProteomeXchange with identifier PXD021683. Discussion Sufficient material can be recovered even crowns perinatal not mineralized. inexpensive (compared ancient DNA) nature this has significant implications bioarchaeological studies infancy childhood.

Variation in chemical components and biological activity of Pterocarya fraxinifolia Lam. stems at different developmental stages

Background and objectives: Pterocarya fraxinifolia Lam. is a deciduous, fast-growing tree from walnut family. The stem barks and fruits of the plant have been used as diaphoretic in traditional medicine. Variation in the quantity and quality of the essential oil and extract of stems of the plant at different developmental stages was evaluated in addition to assessing t...

Proteome of mouse oocytes at different developmental stages.

The mammalian oocyte possesses powerful reprogramming factors, which can reprogram terminally differentiated germ cells (sperm) or somatic cells within a few cell cycles. Although it has been suggested that use of oocyte-derived transcripts may enhance the generation of induced pluripotent stem cells, the reprogramming factors in oocytes are undetermined, and even the identified proteins compos...

Comparative Transcriptome Analysis of Two Races of Heterodera glycines at Different Developmental Stages

The soybean cyst nematode, Heterodera glycines, is an important pest of soybeans. Although resistance is available against this nematode, selection for virulent races can occur, allowing the nematode to overcome the resistance of cultivars. There are abundant field populations, however, little is known about their genetic diversity. In order to elucidate the differences between races, we invest...

Genome-scale identification of nucleosome organization by using 1000 porcine oocytes at different developmental stages

The nucleosome is the basic structural unit of chromosomes, and its occupancy and distribution in promoters are crucial for the regulation of gene expression. During the growth process of porcine oocytes, the "growing" oocytes (SF) have a much higher transcriptional activity than the "fully grown" oocytes (BF). However, the chromosome status of the two kinds of oocytes remains poorly understood...
